Overview

Pay:  $28.00/hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.  A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. 

Schedule: Monday-Sunday with 2 consecutive days off. 9pm-5:30am

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations including repacking, kit-building, receiving, sorting, and inventory movement.
  • Monitor staffing levels and adjust schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Conduct pre-shift planning including inventory checks, laundry scheduling, and workflow coordination.
  • Lead team huddles and post-shift debriefs to communicate goals, progress, and performance.
  • Perform spot checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and immediately address hazards or incidents.
  • Manage employee breaks, lunches, and attendance in accordance with company policy.
  • Prepare shift handover documentation and update daily operational reports.
  • Collaborate with Inventory Supervisor and Manager to address critical shortages.
  • Maintain communication with leadership and client representatives regarding operations.
  • Set a positive, professional example for the workforce and coach employees as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all company, client, and regulatory standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Front-line warehouse employees on designated shift.

Qualifications

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to stand and walk for 2/3 or more of the work shift.
  • Must be able to talk, hear, and use hands to handle or feel for 2/3 or more of the work shift.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more for up to 1/3 of the work shift.

Work Environment:

  • Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and moderate to heavy noise levels.
  • Requires physical activity including lifting, walking, and operating equipment.

Skills:

Language Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedures.
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from team members and clients.

Math Skills:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Computer Skills:

  • Basic understanding of computer software including Microsoft Office and inventory systems.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Ability to solve problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of warehouse operations experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Previous management experience preferred.

Overall:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal
