Quick facts

• Pay: $22–$34/hour (experience & certifications matter)
• Schedule: 5:00 AM start, 10-hour shifts, 30-minute lunch
• Facility: 75,000 SF bridge fabrication shop, expanding capacity
• Projects: Lift bridges, railroad bridges, trestles, bus terminals, main spans, approaches

Is this you?

• 2+ years in structural steel welding
• AWS certifications (D1.1 or D1.5) preferred
• Experience in an AISC fabrication environment a plus
• Detail-obsessed about weld quality, dimensional accuracy, and safety
• Collaborative, improvement-minded, and reliable

What you’ll do

• Perform code-quality welds using FCAW, GMAW/MIG, SAW, and SMAW
• Interpret weld symbols, WPSs, and shop drawings
• Handle prep, grinding, gouging, and cleanup
• Work safely with overhead cranes, fixtures, and heavy plate assemblies
• Adhere to AISC, AWS, and OSHA requirements
