AISC QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER

Rozell Industries has an immediate opening for an AISC Quality Control Manager. As our AISC Quality Control Manager, you will lead our quality documentation and compliance processes. Whether you’re already certified or eager to learn, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our projects meet American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) standards. Your attention to detail will help us maintain our reputation for excellence and keep our projects moving smoothly from shop floor to final inspection.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and update all AISC quality control documentation, including inspection reports, material certifications, and weld logs.
• Assist in preparing for AISC audits and customer inspections.
• Verify that materials, fabrication, and assembly meet project specifications and AISC requirements.
• Coordinate with shop supervisors, welders, and engineers to resolve quality issues quickly.
• Use measurement tools, inspection equipment, and digital systems to record and track quality data.
• Familiarity with steel production, reading blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings (or willingness to learn).
• Strong computer skills for data entry, document management, and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with shop and office teams.
• A proactive mindset—able to spot potential issues before they become problems.
