For our site in Rehovot, we are looking for a AIT System Engineer to join the development of advanced electro optical remote sensing space systems

In this role you will
Define, design & prepare systems integration processes, setups, tests plans & tests reports
Define & manage optomechanical measurements & calibrations using optical tests equipment
Lead systems & sub-systems optical & electro-optical calibration campaigns & testing activities, during development and qualification campaigns
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to define optimal solutions
Define test equipment required for the systems & sub-systems level tests & integrations
Lead automation improvements, of calibration process & tests data analysis
Requirements
B.Sc. in Electro Optical Engineering, Optomechanical, Physics or Electrical Engineering
M.Sc. in Engineering - advantage
At least 5 years of experience in electro-opto-mechanical system engineering, or in the development of complex multidisciplinary systems
Experience leading engineering processes in a matrix environment
Experience conducting system design reviews and V&V/integration activities
High level technical English - reading, writing and speaking
Hands on experience with Matlab / Python / LabView - advantage
Experience in electro optical system development, calibrations and integration - advantage
Familiarity with space system development - advantage
Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork and analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
