Job Role : Akamai Migration Tester
Location: Miami FL onsite
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical documents to create comprehensive and structured test plans and test cases.
Perform manual testing across different applications (web, mobile, APIs, backend systems).
Execute functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity testing.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like
Jira
(or similar).
Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to clarify requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and test coverage analysis.
Validate fixes and perform thorough retesting of resolved issues.
Ensure adherence to QA best practices, processes, and documentation standards.
Support UAT cycles and provide feedback to stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous process improvements within the QA team.
Required Skills
Experience
5-8 years
of hands-on experience in Manual Testing within an IT environment.
Strong understanding of
SDLC ,
STLC , defect lifecycle, and general QA processes.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with various testing methodologies, including:
Functional
Regression Testing
API Testing
Integration
System Testing
Compatibility
Usability Testing
Smoke
Sanity Testing
Experience using
Jira
for test execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive
test cases ,
test scenarios , and
test reports .
Good to Have
Akamai platform work experience or knowledge
Automation testing tool and framework experience.
