Abt Electronics has an immediate opening for the position of an Alarm Technician. We are a family owned company who has been in business since 1936 and continues to experience strong growth year after year. Abt Electronics specializes in electronics, appliance & furniture sales, delivery, installation and servicing all the products we sell. In addition, must be comfortable contributing/working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and fun work environment. Primary duties include:
Installation, wiring & repair of:
Security alarm systems
Access controls
CCTV
Fire systems
Web based home security products
Troubleshooting error codes and false alarms
Integration of alarm & smart home technology
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years installation/programming experience
Valid Illinois PERC card required
Surveillance, access & fire alarm experience a plus
Honeywell, Concord & DSC experience preferred
Pass a DOT physical & drug test
Clean background
Valid Driver's License
Team oriented
Able to participate daily in physical labor
Need to be flexible with hours
Be friendly & respectful towards customers and their property
