The Camp Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of remote Alaska camp facilities supporting drilling and field operations. This position oversees camp personnel, accommodations, food services, housekeeping, logistics coordination, facility maintenance, contractor performance, and camp-related HSE compliance. The Camp Manager serves as the primary point of contact for camp operations and works closely with Operations, HSE, Supply Chain, Logistics, and third-party camp service providers to ensure a safe and efficient living environment for employees and contractors.

Location: North Slope - Alaska

Schedule: Rotational assignment (typically 14 days on/14 days off or 21 days on/21 days off). Rotations are subject to operational requirements and may change based on business needs.

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in camp operations, facility management, hospitality management, logistics, or related industrial operations.
  • Experience supervising employees and/or contractors.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote Arctic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver''s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Must successfully complete all company onboarding requirements, including drug and alcohol screening, background screening, medical evaluations, client-specific requirements, and site access training as applicable.]
  • Must be eligible to obtain required client and site access credentials.
  • Must comply with all company, customer, and regulatory safety requirements.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting drilling, oilfield, mining, construction, or remote industrial operations.
  • Experience managing third-party camp service contracts.
  • OSHA, First Aid/CPR, Incident Command System (ICS), or HSE-related training.
  • Knowledge of Alaska North Slope operations and remote camp logistics.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel to remote Alaska worksites.

  • Ability to work rotational schedules as assigned.

  • Ability to walk, climb stairs, and perform inspections in outdoor Arctic conditions.

  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, including cold, snow, wind, and limited daylight.

  • Manage day-to-day operation of remote camp facilities supporting drilling and field operations.

  • Ensure camp services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.

  • Coordinate lodging assignments and occupancy management.

  • Monitor camp capacity and support workforce planning requirements.

  • Address employee and contractor concerns related to camp accommodations and services.

  • Participate in incident investigations and corrective action development as required.

  • Coordinate emergency response activities within camp facilities.
