The HSE Advisor serves as the on-site Health, Safety, and Environmental professional supporting drilling and field operations across the Alaska North Slope. This position is responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, supporting incident prevention and investigation efforts, and providing leadership and coaching to field personnel on safe work practices.
The HSE Advisor partners closely with rig management, operations leadership, and client representatives to identify hazards, mitigate risk, and ensure safe execution of all work activities.
Location: Prudhoe Bay, Alaska
Rotation: 14x14 or 21x21 - subject to change and rig assignment

Support implementation and continuous improvement of Nabors'' Safety Management System (SMS).
Maintain all required HSE documentation and records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Partner with Operations, HR, Training, Maintenance, and client representatives to achieve business and HSE objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Safety Leadership & Culture
Promote and reinforce a proactive safety culture through visible field leadership, coaching, mentoring, and employee engagement.
Serve as a trusted advisor to Rig Managers, Toolpushers, and Operations leadership on HSE-related matters.
Champion Stop Work Authority (SWA) and ensure employees understand and exercise their responsibility to intervene when unsafe conditions or behaviors exist.
Conduct field-level safety coaching and behavioral observations focused on hazard recognition and risk mitigation.
Facilitate daily safety discussions, weekly safety meetings, client safety initiatives, and workforce engagement activities.
Lead and support safety campaigns, lessons learned communications, and continuous improvement efforts.
