ALIP Functional Consultant Life Insurance

Note: This position is based in San Antonio, TX, and requires 5 days per week in the office.

Summary:
Domain: Insurance Package and Systems Technology and extensive experience in ALIP (Client Life Insurance Platform). ALIP experience is mandatory

Insurance Domain Skills:

• Good understanding of the Life insurance Domain preferably worked with US Insurance Companies or Package Vendor companies on applications/processes related to New Business, Underwriting, Policy Administration, Claims, Data & Reporting, Analytics, Actuarial, etc
• Experience in Product Setup and Policy Admin System Management
• Experience in Insurance Business Process and operations
• Thorough understanding of Transactions and Policy Value processing

Insurance Vendor Package Working Experience / Skill:

• Knowledge of ALIP (Client Life Insurance Platform) or Navisys (Home Office & Front Office) Understanding of ALIP system
• Experience in configuring Insurance Products - setting up parameters, Values, Insurance Product/rider rules, Administration rules, Correspondence rules, state-specific variation rules, etc.
• Knowledge on Transaction / Process set up - Creation of wireframes and rules to set up Business Input and Transaction processing screens, Workflow Rules
• Hands-on experience on ALIP web app keying in Data, executing cycles, running staging jobs, and troubleshooting issues

Technology Awareness:

• XML & XPATH
• Thorough knowledge of MS Office tools - Visio XL, Word, PowerPoint
• Experience in Test case creation and Testing
• Documentation Experience Creation of Wireframes, Business Process flows, functional & Product Specifications, and other project-related documentation
• Ability to conduct walkthroughs, workshops, and meetings
• Solution evaluation, Analytical, problem-solving, and People Management skills are preferred
• LOMA certified

Experience in:

• UI, Page Groups & Page Schemas,
• Tags Rules,
• Look-up & Workflow Setup
