Alkami Developer

Constellation Search Group is looking for an Alkami Developer for a contract position. This role requires a software developer with extensive experience in building digital banking widgets using the Alkami SDK, coupled with robust C# and ASP.NET MVC development skills. The candidate will support secure server-side integration, middleware, and API orchestration for widget-enabled experiences. The developer will work closely with product, UX, QA, and platform teams to deliver secure, compliant, and high-quality solutions within a regulated financial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Alkami SDK custom widgets using Vue.js as the primary UI framework.
• Build responsive, reusable Vue components aligned with established design systems and UX standards.
• Ensure widgets comply with accessibility (WCAG), performance, and cross-browser compatibility standards.
• Collaborate with UX designers and product owners to translate requirements into functional widget implementations.
• Develop and maintain ASP.NET MVC (C#) applications that integrate with Alkami widget workflows.
• Construct secure backend components to orchestrate calls, transform and validate data, and enforce authentication and authorization.
• Implement or extend REST/JSON APIs for secure and performant data handling.
• Apply server-side validation, logging, exception handling, and session management aligned with banking security standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, defect resolution, and release activities across various environments.
• Follow secure coding practices and contribute to documentation, runbooks, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Alkami SDK development, particularly widget creation and customization.
• Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET MVC for building maintainable server-side patterns.
• Extensive experience with Vue.js for component-based UI development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5 / CSS3, RESTful API integration, and JSON payload design.
• Experience in secure application development, including input validation and error handling.
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization concepts and handling of sensitive data.
• Familiarity with Git-based version control, pull request workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Capability to deliver independently and collaboratively in a financial services environment.
