Job Description:

St. James Catholic School in Stratford seeks a creative, energetic and results-oriented professional to serve as its Admissions Director.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit and enroll new students into all grade levels of the school
• Maintain enrollment information on the Final Site Admissions Program
• Respond to applicant inquiries
• Organize and implement all aspects of the enrollment process, including supporting families with Registration questions
• Create and disseminate marketing materials both in print and social media
• Organize Open Houses and direct tours of the school
• Organize events for incoming families, creating a welcoming environment and providing information
• Identify and outreach to areas of the community with potential students
• Maintain current enrollment figures and regularly report status to the principal
• Work collaboratively with the social media coordinator to update website and other social media
• Assist with initiatives to promote and retain students in the school

Basic Qualifications:

• Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn Final Site Admissions Program
• Energetic and positive attitude in the promotion of Catholic education
• Experience in admissions and /or communications and marketing areas
• Experience in social media tools and techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders in the school
