Saint Theresa School is seeking an energetic, responsible, and caring After Care Attendant to join our extended day team. In this role, you will help create a safe, warm, and engaging environment for students at the end of the school day. You will always work alongside a co-attendant to supervise students, assist with homework, lead indoor and outdoor activities, and ensure a smooth dismissal process for families.
Key Responsibilities
Student Supervision & Safety: Actively monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring a safe, supportive, and positive atmosphere at all times.
Homework Support: Assist students with their daily homework assignments, offering gentle guidance and encouraging good study habits.
Activities & Recreation: Lead and participate in indoor games, crafts, and outdoor playground play to keep students engaged and active.
Dismissal & Security: Safely dismiss children to authorized parents/caregivers according to school sign-out protocols.
Room Organization & Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, tidy, and organized aftercare room, ensuring supplies and games are properly put away at the end of each session.
Teamwork: Collaborate closely with your co-attendant to manage group dynamics, share supervisory duties, and maintain a smooth routine.
Hours & Schedule Options
We offer flexible scheduling-you have the option to work anywhere from 1 day to all 5 days per week based on your availability!
