Location Windsor High School
Hours 730am - 230pm
Requirements Bachelors degree or higher
Experience working with students in a school setting preferred andor demonstrated ability to make connections and provide academic support for such students.
Successful completion of college level coursework or passing of examination as required by the No Child Left Behind Act.
Tutors Responsibilities Working closely with the Special education teacher the tutor supports students academic behavioral and organizational needs
Implement students goals and objectives as in accordance with their IEP504 Plans
Utilize appropriate instructional materials
Provide instruction and support to students assigned
Progress monitor student performance
Assist with assignmentsassessments as needed
Communicate progress to classroom teacherspecial education case manager
Other duties as assigned by Pupil and Special Education Services andor building principal
Support secondary students with online credit recovery program
Provide socialemotional support to students in efforts to engage them in their learning
