    Employment Type: Full-Time 9AM-5PM (Mon-Fri)

    Grove School Transition Program

    Grove School's transition program provides individualized support to help 18-22 year old young adults prepare for life after high school. Through coordinated academic instruction, career exploration, work-based learning, community experiences, and independent living skill development, students identify their strengths, interests, and postsecondary goals. Transition planning is integrated into each student's educational program and may include support with college or vocational applications, employment readiness, self-advocacy, transportation, financial literacy, daily living skills, and connections to adult service agencies.

    Job Summary

    The Transition House Coordinator supports the daily operations of a residential program for high-school and college-aged students. This role ensures a safe, clean, and structured living environment while assisting students with transportation, life-skills development, and medication routines.

    Responsibilities

    • Pick up, log, and store medications according to program policy.
    • Assist students with routines, cooking, grocery shopping, and cleaning.
    • Provide transportation to and from campus, appointments, and activities.
    • Review weekly budgets and maintain basic office organization.
    • Communicate with staff regarding schedules, needs, and updates.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in youth services, residential care, or related fields preferred.
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
    • Strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills.
    • Ability to maintain professional boundaries.
    • Willingness to complete medication handling training.
