Responsible for organizing and carrying out structured learning processes for students in a variety of Healthcare programs, including Medical Assisting, Phlebotomy, Pharmacy Tech, and other Allied Health Occupation programs as assigned. Cooperate with other faculty in planning and developing curricula within the spectrum of the entire Allied Health Occupations department. Participate in the full range of professional and college-related activities, including student advising, ongoing professional development, departmental and college-wide meetings, committee activity, and community involvement.
Supervision Received
The Dean of Instruction for Health & Public Service is responsible for carrying out the evaluation of instructors. The Dean confers with the Director of Nursing & Allied Health in decisions regarding instructor workload, professional growth, retention, and department staffing levels.
