We're looking for an Allocations Partnership Coordinator to join our Housing Team.
Our Service
The Housing Management and Landlord Service is responsible for the management of 8,400 council homes across North Yorkshire, delivering key landlord functions including housing allocations, rent collection, tenancy and neighbourhood management, and the development and delivery of initiatives that support tenant engagement and involvement.
The role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and influential Allocations Partnership Coordinator who thrives on building relationships, leading change, and working with multiple organisations to improve housing outcomes across North Yorkshire.
Working at the heart of the North Yorkshire Home Choice partnership, you'll collaborate with North Yorkshire Council, our partner landlords and over 30 Registered Providers to drive service excellence, strengthen partnerships and ensure a fair, transparent and customer-focused approach to housing allocations.
This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference to people's lives, influencing how thousands of applicants access affordable housing across the county. You'll lead on partnership engagement, performance improvement, policy development and system oversight, ensuring the scheme remains legally compliant, efficient and responsive to the needs of local communities.

With excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, you will be able to manage competing priorities, navigate complex challenges, and drive positive outcomes for applicants, partners and communities.
