Job Summary:
The Role:
Responsible for directing vehicles on where to park and ensuring all vehicles and guests are following venue protocols.
Job Functions:
* Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary.
* Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized.
* Patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property thefts.
* Greet guests and welcome them to Alpine Valley.
* Issue ticket stubs, or mark vehicle windshields for special parking.
* May calculate parking charges and collect fees from guests.
* Lift, position, and remove barricades to open or close parking areas.
* Participate in venue recycling efforts before, during and after the show.
* Guide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency.
* May assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas.
* Assist patrons by giving directions places inside or outside the venue.
* Partner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue.
* Other tasks assigned by the Parking Manager or Supervisor.
This position starts at $16.00 per hour.
Qualifications:
* Position requires constant walking and occasional sitting.
* Must possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to express oneself in a professional, clear fashion.
* Strong sense of teamwork and the ability to execute programs.
Employees must be 15 years or older for this position.
