Alpine Valley - Venue Upsells Staff

Role:

As an Upsells/Ancillary Sales staff member, you play a vital role in offering guests the opportunity to enjoy perks and experiences that allow them a first-class event. You also are responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of all guests. Your attention to detail and customer service skills contribute to creating a positive experience for all patrons.

Job Functions:

vProvide guest services by greeting and assisting guests and responding to guest inquiries and complaints.

vCollect money from patrons for all upsell/ancillary products such as parking, lawn chairs, premium upgrades and ticket fees.

vUse provided devices to keep track of sales and redemption.

vPartner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.

v Participate in venue recycling efforts before, during and after the show.

v  Additional tasks as requested by management.

This position starts at $16.00 per hour with potential of commission for sales

Qualifications:

vHigh School Diploma or equivalent

vMust have cash handling experience.

vCreative thinker and problem solver

vAttention to detail, quality and accuracy.

vStrong relationship building and communication skills.

vAbility to work independently.

vExcellent verbal and written communication skills.

vPosition requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs or more

Must be 18 years of age or older to hold this position
