MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Alternate Deputy Program Manager to join our team in Fort Bragg, NC.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversees planning, staffing, R&D efforts, and budgetary matters to ensure timely delivery of contractual commitments to the government
  • Manages all aspects of a major GPO contract to include leadership, technical performance, personnel and financial performance
  • Organizes and oversees technical performance and RDT&E on the contract to ensure delivery of all required deliverables
  • Communicates daily with peers within the business unit as well as customers, Site Leads and Senior Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to identify and resolve problems and challenges to ensure sound execution of contracted effort to include successfully resolving issues requiring senior level (government and corporate) attention
  • Travels, sometimes frequently, to various program sites as necessary to ensure sound program execution
  • Identifies, develops, and implements efficiencies that enhance productivity and/or reduce overall contract costs to the government
  • Leads, guides and mentors less-experienced/lower-positioned team members and employees

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS with 10+ years of relevant program management, project management, technical, and/or analytic experience or High School Diploma and 14+ years
  • Fifteen (15) or more years of experience supporting Special Operations Forces
  • Experience managing contracts, or portions of contracts, of similar size (contract value or FTE) and/or scope (technical requirements)
  • Must hold active PMP certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five (5) or more years of experience supporting Special Mission Units (SMUs).
  • Five (5) or more years of experience supporting Intelligence Agency programs outside of the military.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing disparately located personnel

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active Secret security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the workday
