Alternative Classroom Teacher

Northeast Nebraska Juvenile Services is located in Madison. The Nebraska Department of Education recognizes our school as a Rule 18 School. We are hiring a certified teacher for the upcoming school year. This unique teaching position requires flexibility and creativity while teaching at-risk students in grades 6 through 12. Teachers provide individualized instruction using varied curriculum options to meet student needs. Our alternative school requires teachers to teach and assist in all content areas, while most endorsements will work for this position. Teachers work with special education students to meet all needs within IEP's. Individual classroom sizes are kept small to allow teachers to provide students the attention required for success.
