### Job Summary
ACOE operates court schools at the Juvenile Justice Center, Community Schools that serve foster youth, parenting teens, Probation-referred youth, and students expelled from their resident school districts, and ACOE Opportunity Academy school which serve students 16 and older seeking a high school diploma.
Programs Include:
- Butler Academic Center: A fully accredited educational program for youth detained in Alameda Countys Juvenile Justice Center. While completing their high school diplomas, students have the opportunity to earn college credits through dual enrollment.
- Camp Wilmont Sweeney: A residential program for adolescent males ages 15-19 detained in Alameda Countys Juvenile Justice Center. In addition to a fully accredited educational program, youth have the opportunity to participate in a variety of extracurricular opportunities and earn college credit through a dual enrollment.
- Quest Academy: This program is available to students in grades 7-12 in Alameda County. Expelled and probation-referred youth receive wrap-around services that support completion of their individualized educational and rehabilitation plans.
- Infant & Family Support Program: A no-cost-to-families program that serves infants and toddlers with special needs. Early intervention specialists partner with families to promote childrens development and learning in everyday activities within their family and community.
- Parenting Teen Programs / Opportunity Academy: Programs for parenting teens at two sites in Oakland (Hobbs Academy) and Hayward (Burke Academy). Each location includes on-site child care to support students as they complete their high school graduation requirements. Any parenting student in Alameda County is eligible to enroll.

- Valid clear California Teaching Credential required.
- Will teach ELA, SSS, Math, Science, CTE.
- CPR and First Aid certificate required.
- Reliable transportation required.
