Job Summary: - The Welder is responsible for building according to specific architectural drawings.
- This position will build material using aluminum materials and TIG welds for the majority of projects.
- A passing score for our in-house weld test is required for this position.
Duties/Responsibilities: - Build and put together material per specific blueprints.
- Operate hand and power tools, torches, and welding machines.
- Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble material that returns to the shop for rework.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of product upon completion.
- Occasionally use cutting equipment, break press, grinders, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities: - Must possess the ability to read and decipher architectural drawings and blueprints.
- Must be able to read and use a tape measure with high accuracy.
- Efficient organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Efficient time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Education and Experience: - Must have Welding Certification
- At least one year of experience in TIG welding.
- At least one year of experience welding with aluminum.
- At least one year of experience in a manufacturing/shop environment.
Physical Requirements: - Must be able to lift 50+ pounds at times.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
