What You'll Do as the Aluminum Welder:- Work from prints and work instructions to fixture, tack, and weld steel assemblies while selecting proper equipment and settings to meet quality standards
- Operate forklifts and hand tools
- Handle raw materials
- Perform light equipment maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe work area
- Use the ERP system for production tracking
- Support inspections and material handling
- Cross-train on additional production equipment as needed, and participate in continuous improvement efforts
What You Need to Bring to the Aluminum Welder Role:- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of welding experience
- Ability to safely and effectively operate welding and fabrication equipment
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with personnel and read and interpret documents, such as welding blueprints
- Proficient with mathematical calculations and use of measuring devices
