Aluminum Welder – TIG & MIG WeldingJob Title: Aluminum Welder Days & Night Shift Available Pay:$25.00 – $30.00 per hour (DOE) OverviewApache Workforce is seeking experienced Aluminum Welders to support the fabrication and manufacturing of industrial equipment for leading manufacturing partners. This role is responsible for performing high-quality aluminum welds, interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, and ensuring finished products meet customer specifications and quality standards. Candidates should have extensive experience with TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) aluminum welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. What You'll Be DoingAluminum Welders are responsible for: Performing aluminum welding using TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) processes Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols Preparing materials by cleaning, cutting, fitting, and positioning components before welding Inspecting completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications Operating and maintaining welding equipment safely and efficiently Repairing damaged aluminum components and fabricated structures Grinding, finishing, and preparing welds as needed Following OSHA regulations and company safety policies Working closely with fabricators, fitters, and production teams to meet production schedules Maintaining clean and organized work areas while following 5S principles Performing additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking ForMinimum 5 years of aluminum welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong experience with TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols Successful completion of an internal welding test prior to placement Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced production environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills High School Diploma or GED required
Preferred Qualifications: AWS (American Welding Society) Certification or equivalent Experience with robotic welding systems Knowledge of advanced aluminum welding techniques and materials Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial fabrication Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Work EnvironmentWork is performed in an industrial manufacturing and fabrication facility and may include: Standing or walking for up to 10 hours per shift Working up to 6 days per week based on production needs Frequent lifting of materials up to 50 lbs. Bending, reaching, twisting, climbing ladders, kneeling, and repetitive movement throughout the shift Working in a non-climate-controlled environment with exposure to heat, noise, and industrial equipment Frequent use of welding equipment, grinders, and hand tools Steel-toe boots required Safety glasses and hard hat required Hearing protection recommended
