    Position Summary:

    The Alumni and Annual Giving Coordinator is responsible for coordinating alumni engagement initiatives and implementing annual giving efforts that support the mission of Central Baptist College. This position serves as the primary coordinator for annual giving programs focused on alumni and friends of the College while assisting with alumni relations, events, volunteer engagement, and donor stewardship. The Coordinator works closely with the Vice President for Advancement to strengthen relationships that encourage lifelong engagement and philanthropic support.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate the College's annual giving program, including direct mail, email, online giving, Giving Day, phonathons, and other annual fund initiatives.

    • Assist the Vice President for Advancement in implementing annual fundraising strategies and donor cultivation plans.

    • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with alumni and friends through personal communication, visits, phone calls, and correspondence.

    • Coordinate the activities and meetings of the Alumni Advisory Board, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and assisting with board initiatives.

    • Assist in planning and executing alumni events, reunions, Homecoming activities, and other engagement opportunities.

    • Recruit and coordinate alumni volunteers to support College events and advancement initiatives.

    • Coordinate alumni giving societies and class- or affinity-based giving initiatives that encourage recurring philanthropic support from alumni and friends.

    • Assist with donor stewardship activities, including acknowledgment letters, recognition efforts, and appreciation events.

    • Identify and help cultivate prospective annual donors while assisting with the advancement of major gift prospects as assigned.

    • Collaborate with the Office of Marketing and Communications to develop annual giving and alumni engagement communications.

    • Maintain accurate records of donor and alumni interactions in the College's constituent relationship management (CRM) system.

    • Assist with capital campaigns, special fundraising initiatives, and advancement projects as assigned.

    • Represent Central Baptist College at alumni, church, civic, community, and denominational events as appropriate.

    • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with alumni, donors, volunteers, and constituents.

    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President for Advancement.

    Qualifications:

    • A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with biblical principles.

    • Bachelor's degree required.

    • Experience in fundraising, alumni relations, communications, higher education, nonprofit work, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with transferable professional experience who are coachable, eager to learn, and committed to professional growth will also be considered.

    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

    • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with a wide variety of constituents.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and constituent relationship management (CRM) software preferred.

    • Ability and willingness to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends.

    Working Conditions:

    • This position works primarily in an office setting on campus, with regular travel for alumni visits, donor meetings, and College events.

    • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods.

    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
