The Housekeeping Houseperson plays a key role in supporting the overall cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the hotel. This position ensures that public areas, back‑of‑house spaces, and housekeeping operations are maintained to brand standards, creating a welcoming and safe environment for guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Public Area & Back‑of‑House Support

• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and other public spaces

• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and remove trash as needed

• Clean and restock public restrooms throughout the shift

• Monitor and refresh high‑traffic areas to ensure they remain guest‑ready

Housekeeping Operations

• Deliver linens, towels, and supplies to Room Attendants

• Remove soiled linens and trash from guest floors

• Assist with stocking housekeeping closets and carts

• Support deep‑cleaning projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent communication

• Ability to lift, push, and pull 30-50 lbs. (linen carts, furniture, supply bins)

• Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods

• Comfortable working indoors/outdoors and on multiple floors

• Ability to operate housekeeping equipment (e.g., vacuums, extractors, carpet cleaners)

• Flexible availability required, including weekends and holidays

• This is an AM position with shifts starting between 8:00am-10:00am.
