Your impact
- Operate and set up hydraulic press brakes to form sheet metal components to exact specs.
- Own CNC setups and changeovers to keep production agile.
- Interpret blueprints, templates, and technical drawings for accurate layouts.
- Plan operations using knowledge of material behavior and bend deductions.
- Run supporting equipment: notchers, rolls, hardware insertion machines, and CNC RAS panel benders.
- Perform routine hydraulic maintenance, troubleshoot, and make adjustments for peak performance.
- Measure, inspect, and correct to maintain tight tolerances and top quality.
- Work with teammates to improve flow, efficiency, and safety practices.
- Keep the area orderly and safety‑compliant; assist other production areas as needed.
What you bring
- 1–3 years in press brake operation or related metal fabrication.
- Strong foundation in hydraulics, hydraulic components, and mechanical systems.
- Hands‑on CNC setup, tooling selection, and machine adjustment experience.
- Ability to read blueprints, bend deduction charts, and fabrication drawings.
- Background with hydraulic press brakes; familiarity with RAS panel benders is a plus.
- Knowledge of sheet metal processes and basic hand tools.
- Proven problem‑solver, effective independently and on a team.
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certification preferred.
Physical requirements
- Stand for prolonged periods on a concrete floor.
- Lift 25 lbs or more as necessary.
- Average manual dexterity for handling small tools and components.
