Responsibilities

• Provide accurate ASL interpretation for meetings, trainings, and events on-site.

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interpreted communications.

• Maintain up-to-date ASL terminology and industry best practices.

• Adapt interpretation style to audience, ensuring clarity and comprehension.

• Prepare prior to sessions by reviewing agenda and relevant materials.

• Ensure punctuality and reliable on-site presence for all assignments.

• Track time, usage, and deliverables aligned with contract terms and pipelines.

• Document and report any accessibility gaps or equipment issues on-site.

• Collaborate with teams to identify interpretation needs and scheduling.

• Support feedback collection to measure interpreter effectiveness and impact.

• Provide post-session debriefs to capture key points and follow-up actions.

• Uphold safety and accessibility standards in all interpreted environments.

Experience/Qualifications

• Fluent, accurate ASL interpretation for meetings and events on-site

• Certified ASL interpreter with recent terminology knowledge

• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times

• Prepare by reviewing agendas and materials prior to sessions

• On-site reliability, punctuality, and consistent presence

• Adapt interpretation style to audience and context for clarity

• Uphold safety and accessibility standards in all environments

• Track interpretation time, usage, and deliverables per contract

• Report accessibility gaps, equipment issues, and follow-up actions

• Engage in post-session debriefs to capture key points and actions

• Collaborate with teams to identify needs and scheduling
