The person in this role will support the orientation and training of VISTA members. Identify areas for improvement in current onboarding practices and organize orientation sessions for new members. They will identify training needs for members and collaborate with the team to deliver relevant professional development opportunities throughout the program year. They will provide mentorship guidance and facilitate peer support among members through regular meetings. Additionally, they will develop and streamline program reporting toolstemplates and support members in navigating reporting processes.
The individual will also develop resources workflows and outreach materials for staff-led recruitment and provide observations and feedback to staff regarding opportunities to improve VAD clarity and consistency. Finally, they will collaborate with program staff and VISTA members to enhance program sustainability and document all procedures and materials for future reference.
