- Perform As-Is / To-Be business process mapping.
- Conduct gap analysis and develop solution blueprints.
- Create and maintain:
- Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs)
- Use Cases
- Process Flows
- Data Mapping Documents
- Lead UAT planning and test case validation.
- Coordinate business sign-offs and acceptance activities.
- Provide SME guidance throughout integration, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure functional requirements and solutions align with utility business processes.
- Domain Expertise:
- Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) event lifecycle.
- Meter reads and interval data.
- Tamper alerts and detection.
- Outage events and management.
- Meter Data Management System (MDMS) functionalities.
- Validation, Editing, and Estimation (VEE).
- Data aggregation and estimation.
- Meter exchanges.
- Billing determinants.
- Revenue protection.
- Utility asset management.
- Meter, transformer, and feeder asset management.
- Tools & Technologies:
- Microsoft Visio
- ARIS
- Bizagi
- Jira
- Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Meter Data Analytics Tools
- Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a functional SME and domain consultant for AMI and utility transformation initiatives.
- Lead requirements workshops with business stakeholders and utility SMEs.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements and solution designs.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between business, technical, integration, and testing teams.
- Maintain requirements traceability using Jira/ADO.
- Support integration testing, UAT, deployment, and post-production activities.
- Identify process gaps and recommend optimized To-Be processes.
- Provide functional leadership and domain guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
