About the Role:
AMPM/ARCO Station In Commerce, CA is looking for a friendly and reliable Gas Station Attendant/Cashier to join our team! This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where no two days are the same. Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide prompt, friendly customer service at the register and throughout the store
• Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately using a POS system
• Monitor and operate fuel pumps, assisting customers with fueling needs as required
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to maintain a well-organized store
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, restrooms, fuel pump areas, and parking lot
• Verify customer age for tobacco and alcohol purchases in compliance with local regulations
• Perform opening and closing duties including cash drawer reconciliation
• Report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or fuel spills promptly
• Kitchen and Cooking

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience not required 
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-first attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Must be at least 21 years of age (required for fuel and age-restricted sales)
