JOB SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for ensuring that customers are dealt with according to the Customer Service Policy, as well as the Starkey Corporate mission statement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTS

  • Answer incoming calls regarding technical and non-technical information

  • Assist dispensers in fitting questions.

  • Answer dispenser questions about Starkey and Starkey All-Make products.

  • Clarify dispenser requests.

  • Call dispenser with additional charges and estimates when requested.

  • Support All Make Repair

  • Stay current on Starkey products and processes.

  • Provide repair information.

  • Use JIT principals while performing duties.

  • Answer problems from receiving and shipping.

  • Process orders

  • Accessories

  • Warranties

  • Credits

  • Marketing materials

  • Hearing aid parts, then invoice and ship

  • Document calls

  • Keep phone call records.

  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements

  • Education

  • High school degree or equivalent required

  • Experience

  • Minimum 1-year experience working in a hearing aid manufacturing environment preferred. Minimum 1-year customer service experience preferred.

  • Experience working with Microsoft office.

Competencies, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Good organizational skills required.
  • Good problem solving/troubleshooting skills required
  • Ability to type 25-30 WPM required.
  • Letter writing skills a plus
  • 10-key skills a plus

Salary and Other Compensation:

The target rate for this position is between $18.14 to $24.15/hr. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
