AMS Cheerleading Grade 8

AEA supplemental requests via an internal application will be accepted until 2:00 PM on 3/24/2026. External applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

Salary

• AEA Members: AEA members will receive 7.5% of the Base Salary in accordance with the AEA Negotiated Agreement.
• Non-AEA Members: Non-AEA members will receive 7.5% of the base salary on the Non-Degreed Certificated Salary Schedule.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience at the middle school level or higher in designated sport.
• Must possess a thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport.
• Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students.

Essential Duties

• Grade 8 Cheerleaders during football season and Grade 7 & 8 Blue team Cheerleaders during basketball season.

The successful candidate must have the following on file before starting:

• Valid Ohio Pupil Activity Permit
• Current Coaches Training Certificates
• Ohio Auditor of State Fraud Training Certificate
• Favorable State and Federal background checks
• Negative Drug Screen Result

Employees must follow all board policies, all state and federal laws, and the Ohio Code of Ethics as established by the Ohio Department of Education.
