- Pager call -- 7 am to 7 am shifts
- Up to 4 consecutive shifts before a break
- 25 - 30 deliveries per month
- 34% C-section rate
- Handles ER and unassigned OB/GYN patients while on call
- Emergency GYN coverage -- no scheduled GYN procedures
- After-hours clinic calls managed by on-call provider
