Anaesthetist - Junior Consultant

The Position
Anaesthetist, full-time up to 40 hours per week

The Facility
The health service includes a network of hospitals providing coordinated care across the region. The main facility is a Level 3/4 hospital delivering acute and specialist care to more than 13,000 inpatients each year. It works closely with neighbouring facilities and tertiary centres to ensure comprehensive healthcare for the local population. The service also includes a community-level rural hospital providing inpatient, surgical, and emergency care, with more than 14,500 emergency presentations annually. Supporting a population of over 51,000 people, it offers modern infrastructure, strong community links, and a supportive environment for professional development across a range of medical specialties.
 

• AHPRA Specialist Registration
• New Zealand Consultant experience or about to gain the ANZCA fellowship
• ANZCA assessed IMG's deemed Substantially Comparable
• Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Anaesthetist, and/or specialist international medical graduate pathways.
