Analog Design/Circuit Design Engineer II

Job Overview:

Pay Range $83.70hr - $88.70hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Strong expertise in analog and mixed-signal circuit design fundamentals.
• Experience with industry-standard EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and related simulation environments.
• Solid understanding of CMOS device physics, analog design tradeoffs, and low-power circuit techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive design activities from specification through silicon validation.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop analog/mixed signals circuits including LDOs, Charge Pumps, Voltage Detectors, and related power management IP.
• Perform transistor-level design, simulation, and optimization across PVT corners to meet performance, power, and reliability requirements.
• Execute pre-layout and post-layout verification, including stability, noise, PSRR, transient, and corner analyses.
• Collaborate with layout, verification, and product engineering teams to ensure successful tapeout and silicon validation.
• Support silicon bring-up, characterization, debug, and correlation of simulation results with measured silicon data.

Nice to Have:

• Experience designing LDOs, Charge Pumps, Voltage Detectors, Bandgap References, and Power-On Reset (POR) circuits.
• Strong understanding of loop stability, compensation techniques, PSRR, line/load regulation, and transient response.
• Experience with silicon characterization, debug, and production support.
• Familiarity with advanced CMOS process technologies and reliability considerations.
• Exposure to AI-assisted design optimization or analog design automation techniques.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design within the semiconductor industry preferred.
• Proven track record of successful silicon bring-up and product development is a plus.
