We encourage you to apply if you have experience with any of the following:
  • Strong background in DC power design, specifically focusing on analog circuit design.
  • Experience with High Voltage DC (HVDC) power modules and transmission systems, with a strong preference for systems operating at 1,000V or higher.
  • Designing and testing circuit cards and hardware intended for underwater or extreme environments.
  • Multiple power topology design experience, ranging from low-power signal conditioning to high-power converters (kW+).
  • Deep understanding of power electronics, semiconductor selection for high-stress environments, and HVDC technology.
  • Backgrounds in oil and gas, solar, or battery sectors are highly applicable, provided there is strong DC power design experience.

Desired Skills:
  • Expert-level understanding of electrical engineering CAD tools and mixed-signal circuit analysis; experience with Altium or Mentor Graphics is a significant plus.
  • Solid use of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories in analog design and instrumentation.
  • Advanced background in feedback loops and control systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of power system architecture, grounding, and isolation for subsea or marine environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability: must be able to diagnose a problem by narrowing the point of failure sequentially through components.
  • Use of specialized laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes for development, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in writing specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and components.
  • Motivation to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, and component selection for both legacy and new designs.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
