Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Analyst III located at the Redstone Test Center, Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. Astrion has worked extensively with the Redstone Test Center where it has earned a reputation for on-time delivery of high-quality products tailored to the needs of its clients.  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a technical, science or business discipline from an accredited* college/university and 6 years of experience in one of the following areas, as related to the respective job required: Communication, Logistics, Operations, Finance, Personnel/Human Resource Management, Program Management, Process Improvement, Safety, Security, and Environmental specialties; or an Associate's Degree and 8 years of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area; or 10 years of experience performing the job duties in the assigned specialty area; or 10 years of military training in the specialty area, or a combination thereof, may be substituted for the education requirements. 
• 4 years of the required experience must include experience analyzing financial and other data, gathering and analyzing information regarding systems and/or procedures to provide recommendations for improving efficiency, analyzing and reporting business activity and compiling statistical reports.
• Must have a commitment to customer satisfaction including attention to detail – as well as supportive of process improvements.  
• Must be a proficient user of MS Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, One Note, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Thorough, detail oriented, and organized, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once 
• Superb verbal and written communication skills 
• Self-motivated and independent thinker with out-of-the-box ideas S. Citizenship is required for all applicants.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Possess, or able to obtain a DoD/DoW Secret Security Clearance

• Developing integrated schedules, writing narratives.
• Professional user of Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint. 
• Exceptional customer relationship management highly desirable 

   

   RESPONSIBILITIES

   

• Serve by performing holistic financial management of all directly funded programs and overhead functions executed by the ECC Test Division.

• Provide funding allocation notifications to test engineers and contract leads for their use in planning test execution and support reallocation requests.
• Monitor execution of customer funds based upon test-engineer provided test schedules and present feedback on burn rates vs. percent completion.
• Track the status of open cost estimate requests and open material purchase requests within the Division.
• Report on the funding levels compared to the submitted cost proposals.
• Support weekly CIMS file process by reviewing submissions for the entire Directorate to ensure accuracy to prevent/correct overages, and/or other charge errors.
• Track expiring funds, to include requesting fund extensions.
• Track direct and overhead labor and material expenses for weekly Division financial status reports to the Division Chief.
• When required, perform duties for operations within the ECC Test Division to include status tracking of overtime, TDY, and other tasks.
