D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Analyst. The right candidate will research, recommend, implement and oversee solutions on various corporate strategies and operational initiatives that result in heightened efficiency and/or profitability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform data mining and independent research to assist in development of recommendations of the Analytics team
- Strategize with other key stakeholders on how to best align information systems with company objectives
- Assist Analytics team members with recurring and ad hoc reporting to support operational initiatives
- Perform independent research and data mining using SQL on issues, projects, and ideas that expand efficiency/capacity
- Update existing reporting in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI to summarize and monitor key initiatives
- Effectively communicate suggested changes to improve team consistency and performance
- Assist Analytics team members in development of training materials and release notes
- Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
- Ability to travel overnight
