Location: Los Angeles - 333 South Grand Avenue, 28th Floor.Brookfield Asset Management's Global Client Group provides insights and solutions designed to meet the evolving needs of a diverse group of investors around the world.Job Overview As an Associate in the Product Strategy & Development Team, you will contribute directly to investment product innovation and strategic growth initiatives. This includes conducting research and market intelligence related to the broader industry and competitor landscape, evaluating new business concepts and product ideas, modeling and scenario analysis, and developing new product vehicles, features, and capabilities to spearhead increased growth and innovation for the firm.Responsibilities Monitor and understand key market trends and competitor activities within the alternatives industry to inform the firm's product development strategy and business decisions.Evaluate new business and product ideas and support the development of data‑driven recommendations to drive the firm's growth.Contribute to product‑focused initiatives, including new product launches and enhancements to existing products, in collaboration with senior stakeholders and the investment, fundraising, marketing, legal, tax and fund operations teams.Create strategic partnership proposals with investors that leverage the full range of the firm's capabilities.Perform financial analyses and modeling to inform business decisions and growth opportunities.Support the firm's senior leadership on ad‑hoc research projects.Leverage AI‑enabled tools to enhance market intelligence, competitor research, data synthesis, workflow automation and presentation development.Support the preparation and coordination of product‑related decisions and exceptions in advance of governance discussions.Candidate Profile 2 to 6 years of financial services‑related experience with a focus on the alternative asset management industry.Experience or relevant exposure to product development and implementation processes.Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity.Robust research, analytical and quantitative skills.Excellent communication, writing, and presentation (PowerPoint) skills.Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.Team player with a positive attitude and proactive approach to work.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and work with professionals across the organization.Undergraduate degree with an excellent academic background; additional credentials such as CFA, CAIA, MBA or CPA are a bonus.Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year. The compensation structure consists of a base salary and a short‑term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation varies by geography and is set to be market competitive, based on relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.Brookfield is committed to maintaining a positive work environment that is safe and respectful.
