Position Overview:
  • The Analyst, Construction Operations & Compliance provides analytical, operational, and administrative support for Transmission and Substation capital projects throughout the project lifecycle.
  • This position supports Construction Management and Project Management teams by coordinating contractor compliance activities, developing operational and financial reporting, supporting procurement and project controls processes, and facilitating construction logistics.
  • The role works closely with Construction Supervisors, Project Managers, Corporate Security, Operational Compliance, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Technology, and external contractors to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • This position offers the opportunity to influence operational performance, improve business processes, and contribute to the successful delivery of critical energy infrastructure projects.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
  • Project & Construction Operations Support:
    • Provide operational support for Transmission and Substation construction projects.
    • Coordinate project logistics, site support services, equipment rentals, and temporary facilities.
    • Support project mobilization, execution, and closeout activities.
    • Maintain project documentation, records, trackers, and performance metrics.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Develop and maintain operational, project, compliance, and financial reports.
    • Analyze project and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Support forecasting, resource planning, and performance measurement activities.
    • Prepare management reports to support business decision-making.
  • Contractor Compliance & Security Administration:
    • Coordinate contractor onboarding, training, and compliance processes.
    • Track contractor qualifications, certifications, and required training.
    • Administer contractor access requests and security requirements.
    • Support compliance with NERC CIP, Substation Security, and company policies.
    • Maintain compliance records and support audit activities.
  • Procurement & Financial Support:
    • Create and manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and service requests.
    • Support project cost tracking, budget monitoring, and forecasting activities.
    • Review invoices and coordinate resolution of discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders.
    • Maintain accurate procurement and financial documentation.
  • Process Improvement & Stakeholder Coordination:
    • Support implementation of new tools, reports, and workflows.
    • Serve as a liaison between Construction, Project Management, Compliance, Security, Finance, and external contractors.
    • Participate in departmental initiatives and special projects.

Required Qualifications: 
  • 6-8 years of experience
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree but if has 6-8 experience.
  • Technical Skills: Excel, Maximo, Put DR (Desktop Requisitions), Create / Understanding PO (Purchase Orders), Outlook
