Job DescriptionBridges interface analysts are the primary contact for the interfaces they are assigned to implement and support. They coordinate analysis sessions to identify interface business needs, create technical designs, and own issue triage necessary to implement and support their assigned interfaces. They work closely with the interface project manager, application teams, and technical teams to ensure that interfaces meet the needs of end users.Responsibilities: Managing the entire implementation cycle of interfaces, web services, and industry-standard APIs (such as FHIR), including analysis, design, specification, implementation, go-live, and supportWorking closely with application teams, subject matter experts, and third-party application experts to determine business needs, document requirements, and configure interfaces per the requirements. Partnering with these groups to diagnose and resolve interface-related issues and supporting ongoing application projects as neededReviewing, triaging, and resolving day-to-day interface errors, including coordinating with technical teams, application teams, and third-party system representatives as necessaryIdentifying and escalating risks associated with technical project tasks and third-party systemsCoordinating interface-specific tasks and activities like testing, build, cutover planning, and go-live by engaging subject matter experts, vendors, server and networking teams, Epic Client System Administrators, and interface engine developersWorking with interface engine developers to develop data-translation strategies to support the needs of Epic and third-party systemsProviding proactive support by monitoring live interfaces and resolving issuesResponsible for performance, availability and scalability of all of applications and deliverablesMaintain the functional interfaces as it pertains to applications and infrastructureAssist in planning, estimating, designing and ensuring customizations and integration components are designed to meet the business needsResponsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interfaces between client''s information systems utilizing Cloverleaf HL7 engineResponsible to work on error handling in Epic Bridges and Cloverleaf engineBuild relationships with end users and provide consistent, reliable support demonstrating a sense of urgency to resolve issuesQualifications: Required:3+ years Epic build and support experienceExcellent attention to detail including verbal communication and documentation skillsExperience with messaging formats used in healthcare integration HL7, FHIR, EDI, CSV, XML etcHealthcare industry experiencePreferred:Experience in Laboratory/Diagnostics industryTravel Required:Domestic travel up to 15%Required Education:College degree in computer science, information science or equivalent work experience Required Technical Training or Professional Licensing:Bridges certification requiredEnglish Language required.62119Quest Diagnostics honors our service members and encourages veterans to apply.
