Short Job Description

The Arizona Department of Administration (AZDOA) Enterprise Resource Planning Division is seeking a Business Analyst with at least 3 years of experience to support large and complex ERP-related projects. The ideal candidate will gather and document business requirements, facilitate stakeholder communication, coordinate business analysis activities, develop functional and test scenarios, and provide project status updates. Strong analytical, customer service, communication, documentation, and relationship-building skills are required. Candidates must be local to Phoenix, AZ. ERP experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver presentations and project status reviews to stakeholders, customers, and process owners.
• Coordinate and oversee the work of multiple Business Analysts on complex projects.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate user requirements into business, functional, and test scenarios.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate across teams and organizations to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Manage priorities effectively while balancing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Resolve conflicts professionally while maintaining confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of Business Analyst experience.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments.
• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience.
