Job Summary:

The Analyst, Compensation supports the design, execution, and continuous improvement of our compensation programs. This role combines operational excellence with strong analytical capabilities to ensure compensation programs are competitive, equitable, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. This role includes a significant administrative component, requiring strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

The analyst serves as a trusted partner to HR, Finance, and business leaders by delivering market insights, conducting compensation analyses, supporting incentive and equity programs, and leveraging technology to improve compensation processes and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Compensation Program Administration

  • Support the design, implementation, administration, and communication of enterprise-wide compensation programs, including base salary structures, annual merit cycles, short-term incentive plans, and equity programs.
  • Coordinate compensation processes and annual planning activities, ensuring data integrity and timely execution.
  • Maintain compensation documentation, job architecture, salary structures, and governance processes.
  • Execute administrative and operational compensation tasks, including data entry, tracking, auditing, and reconciliation in spreadsheets and systems.
  • Conduct regular data audits to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accuracy across compensation programs.

Compensation Analysis & Insights

  • Conduct job evaluations, market pricing, benchmarking, and competitive pay analyses using external survey data.
  • Analyze compensation trends, internal equity, pay compression, and workforce metrics to support business decisions.
  • Develop cost models, forecasting analyses, and scenario planning to support compensation strategy.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations that translate complex data into actionable insights.

Business Partnership

  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to provide guidance on compensation recommendations, market competitiveness, and internal equity considerations.
  • Support offer review processes and promotion evaluations.
  • Participate in compensation-related projects and strategic initiatives.

Equity Compensation

  • Assist in equity compensation administration, reporting, and tracking in partnership with Finance, Legal, and external vendors.
  • Support equity grant analyses, reporting, and employee communications.

Compliance & Governance

  • Support compensation governance processes and ensure compliance with applicable wage and hour laws, pay transparency regulations, and compensation policies.
  • Assist with pay equity analyses, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and audits to ensure compensation data accuracy and consistency.

Technology & Process Improvement

  • Leverage HR technology, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to streamline compensation processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting solutions utilizing tools such as Workday, Power BI, Excel, and other analytics platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies, data quality, and user experience.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of compensation, HR analytics, finance, consulting, or related analytical experience.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency including complex formulas, pivot tables, modeling, data validation, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred:

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation or progress toward certification.
  • Experience with Workday Advanced Compensation or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Experience with compensation survey providers (Mercer, WTW, Radford, Aon, Korn Ferry, etc.).
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools.
  • Exposure to equity compensation administration.
  • Experience utilizing AI tools and automation technologies for reporting, analytics, or process improvement.

Additional Description :

Competitive pay $76,078 to $91,293 annually.
