Job Summary:

  • Develop extensive knowledge of Administrative processes that impact the payment cycle and customer experience
  • Adjust bills within the AS400 to satisfy customer expectations
  • Execute established queries without supervision
  • Manipulate and Analyze the output of various data sets and systems to uncover trends
  • Report findings and recommendations that support continuous process improvement (within the Administrative Department)
  • Review, audit, and diagnose indicators of account level issues and defect patterns. Diagnose the root cause of Administrative Department defects and disputes and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain queries that support Administrative processes, reduce payment cycles, and improve customer experience
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to obtain necessary customer requirements and incorporate into process documentation
  • Assist Departmental Management with day-to-day operations and act as a resource to other team members.
  • Regular attendance is required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background ; Higher Education preferred
  • 1 year experience in billing and/or accounts receivables required
  • Must have strong written, verbal and listening communication skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills required
  • AS400 and Sequel experience required
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of LTL concepts and how they apply to Administration including rules, logic and process flows
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external executives and other key stakeholders across Estes
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and quality focus
  • Must be able to lift approximately 20 lbs., or more if required by the essential functions of the job
  • Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
  • Must be able to interact well with others
  • Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting
  • Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities
  • Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
