Job Description and Duties
As an Analyst II, working as a Facilities & Asset Management Analyst in our Business Services Section, you'll play a key role in supporting the operations that keep our organization running smoothly. This position serves as a trusted resource in facilities operations, asset management, warehouse oversight, vendor partnerships, and contract coordination.
In this highly analytical and independent role, you'll evaluate operational data, identify trends, and develop recommendations that improve efficiency, service delivery, and resource management. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, help oversee the lifecycle of department assets, support procurement efforts, and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Working Conditions
At FI$Cal, we currently offer a remote-centered position with the flexibility of telework up to two days per week. In-office attendance is mandatory on designated days and is subject to change. Our office is located at 2000 Evergreen Street, Sacramento, CA. Candidates residing outside of California are welcome to interview, but proof of California residency is required before appointment. Please note, relocation and commute expenses are the responsibility of the employee.
This position requires prolonged sitting in an office-setting environment with the use of a personal computer. Employees must demonstrate a commitment to maintain a working environment free from discrimination and sexual harassment. Department Information
Our department develops, maintains and operates FI$Cal, the statewide financial system. The FI$Cal system modernized how the state of California manages its finances and is one of the largest and most dynamic IT and business-transformation undertakings in California's history. It eliminates the need for hundreds of independent legacy systems by combining the state's accounting, budgeting, cash management, and procurement operations into a single financial-management system.
