Analyst 2 - Capital Outlay | California Conservation Corps

Are you ready to make an impact on California's natural resources, infrastructure, and communities? The California Conservation Corps (CCC) is looking for a driven, detail-oriented Analyst 2 to support our Capital Outlay program-one of the CCC's most critical and fast-growing operational areas.

As part of the Capital Outlay team, you'll play a hands-on role in advancing construction and facility improvement projects that directly support the CCC's mission of developing young adults and protecting California's environment. Your work will help shape safer, more sustainable, and more efficient CCC centers statewide.

What You'll Do

• Support the development, planning, and tracking of complex Capital Outlay projects.
• Analyze project budgets, schedules, and scope to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare high-quality reports, briefs, and documentation for state oversight entities. -Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and leadership across the department.
• Help streamline processes and improve workflow in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Working Conditions

This position must report to an approved CCC facility (statewide).

This position is classified as "Hybrid" and is currently eligible for up to one day of telework per week, with a minimum of four days of in-office work.

Position periodically requires travel (approx. 25 - 50%) to assist the Capital Outlay team with annual facility assessments at all CCC facilities statewide.

Career Consultation

California Conservation Corps is excited to take part in the first agency-wide collaborative physical career center. The career center is located in the heart of Downtown Sacramento in the brand new CNRA headquarters building. Services provided include one-on-one career consultations, application/resume review, career guidance, mock interviews, and tips for applying.

Days: Open every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (except state holidays)

Salary Information
