Job Description and Duties

Are you are interested in working in a fast-paced environment surrounded by enthusiastic and self-motivated people? If so, then look no further! Human Resources is looking for motivated, inspired, engaged, dynamic, and creative leaders who will do things differently, tackle hard problems, and innovate new solutions.

In this position you will help develop emerging and established leaders at State Fund. You will play a key role in designing, customizing and facilitating various workshops for leaders in the organization. You'll also assist with several other high-profile leadership development initiatives. Working Conditions

Hiring for following area(s) - Vacaville, Sacramento and Glendale. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

This is a 12-month limited term position which may be extended, cancelled, or made permanent at any time.If becoming permanent, the selected candidate must be eligible for a permanent appointment at the time of the LT appointment or at the time of the conversion.

Selected candidate(s) hired may be required to attend in-person Onboarding at our Vacaville office with expenses for attendance paid by State Fund.

This is a teleworking position which may require travel up to 2-3 times a month. Overnight travel within California may be required.

Special Requirements

Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee's monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of PLP 2025 on the first day of each pay period in accordance with the applicable bargaining contract.
