Job Description and Duties

Are you interested in becoming a part of one of California's premiere talent acquisition teams? The Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of Human Resources (OHR) is seeking to hire a highly motivated, independent, and innovative Analyst III to support the OHR and DOJ's Executive programs.

This position will be responsible for performing complex and sensitive classification and organizational analysis, hiring and compensation consultation, as well as preparing concepts and determining return rights for Career Executive Assignments. This position will regularly communicate with high-level management and executive staff and provide lead support and oversight to the Executive program liaison position. The position's goals will be to provide highly technical consultation services, make strategic recommendations, and implement creative solutions.

The Analyst III will function with a high degree of independence, while providing accurate guidance to their programs; therefore, the most competitive candidates will be able to function in the position with minimal oversight.

Working Conditions This position has been designated as eligible for telework and is currently a remote centered position. The position will however require in-person attendance on a recurring basis. The selected candidate would report to DOJ headquarters in Sacramento when required for job functions, in-person meetings, trainings, etc. Expenses related to travel to the office when required are the responsibility of the employee. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time.
