Major/Essential Functions
- Review and evaluate third-party software, platforms, and tools for accessibility compliance using VPATs, ACRs, and vendor documentation.
- Request and interpret accessibility statements and test results from vendors.
- Identify risk levels and assign accessibility approval status.
- Assist departments with procurement-related accessibility questions and exceptions.
- Communicate directly with vendors to clarify gaps and coordinate accessibility testing when necessary.
- Participate in accessibility audits, reporting, and procurement governance meetings.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous professional experience collaborating with TTU Procurement or Contracting, including participation in purchasing workflows, contract development, vendor evaluations, or related approval processes, is highly valuable. Experience using TTU systems such as TechBuy, as well as other institutional purchasing or approval platforms, is preferred. Candidates with a background in supporting or leading compliance initiatives—such as accessibility reviews, regulatory assessments, legal or policy analysis, administrative oversight, or broader risk-mitigation efforts—will be particularly well prepared for this role. Demonstrated familiarity with regulatory frameworks, institutional policies, or applicable state and federal requirements will further strengthen a candidate’s ability to contribute effectively to this position.
